The name "Art Walk" hints at the procedure:

In each class students "take a walk" with a master artists like Marc Chagall or Georgia O'Keefe, Vincent Van Gogh, O'Keefe, M.C. Escher, Henri Matisse, Diego Rivera, Frieda Kahlo, Picasso, and Miro.

Using the artist's work as an example, students are able to explore the color, composition and technique of a specific style.

The program is ever evolving as Kerrie is continually finding places for other artists in the curriculum.
